We are proud our unique line of Larp fiberglass composite bows that are all regulated to strict Larp standards in draw weight. Some of our larp bows are covered in a suede finish and hand stitched with a beautiful lacing. All of our bows have a leather grip and are made to resemble authentic medieval bows.

Since the beginning of LARP events bows have been mostly overlooked and often real hunting bows were accepted.  We at Epic Armoury Canada believe that this must change to protect those who suffer real injuries due to non legal weapons at these events. All of our bows have been tested and set at specific draw weights for LARP events and should not be modified in any way. All of our bows maintain the high standard of quality and care that all of our products receive periodic checks for signs of distress must be made to ensure the safety for all involved

Maintenance: Never store your bow in the window of a lock car, the intense heat might warp the bow. Never keep the string on for prolonged periods of time, doing so will alter the draw strength. Other than that these bows require minimum maintenance, remember that these bows are intended for Larp events only. Do not fire any other arrows other than IDV arrows with these bows, please!

Epic Armoury Canada is the sole licenced Canadian distributor of IDV products in Canada. IDV larp arrows are the most secure arrows on the market and are produced for Larp events worldwide. Their track record is prooven that is why soon events like Bicolline will require these arrows at their events to prevent injury to their players. In the past Larp arrow confection was left to the player but with the rise in the number players over the years safety becomes a priority. These closed celled foam arrows are secure, light and well designed, perfect for the experienced Larper. The hollow fiberglass rods are almost unbreakable and therefor essential at any event. Each arrow has a code on the shaft that must remain in case of manufacturer recalls. Although rare it might happen, without the code on the shaft no garantee can be offered.

Our Crossbows are handmade of solid white oak and are hand crafted here in Quebec by local artists during the winter months. The crossbows have draw strength of 28lbs, sufficient for and LARP event. The handle and bolt holder and firing pin are made of steel; the Lame is made of fibreglass. Models come in a variety of colors from, black, red, browns, greens etc. We can have specific colors made if need be.  All of the models made may vary slightly and all minor imperfections are called "Handmade". If you wish to order a specific amount of a certain model please do so during the winter season.
