you must use our Silicone to prolong the life of your latex weapon. Our 100% pure silicone penetrated deep within the latex increasing the elasticity and lubrication. Elasticity is important for two reasons; first it increases the shear strength of the weapon preventing tears an second it maintains the overall look and feel of the weapon. Lubrication prevents friction from one weapon to the other or against the scabbard or frog. Silicone has an added feature it acts as a water repellent which prevents temporary discoloration of the weapon. Without the use of the silicone small cracks will appear in the weapon, it will become dry and brittle and immediate signs of distress will be apparent on your latex weapon. Regular maintenance is required to maintain your guarantee. If tears do appear in your latex weapon do not fret, our repair glue will solve the problem in minutes, and believe us when we say it will never tear in the same place again.
